Triple Rectangular Notch UWB Antenna Using EBG and SRR

This paper investigates an ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna with a triple-rectangular notch band at 5G, WLAN, and Satellite downlink bands. The 5G WLAN bands are notched by using pair of electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structures while the satellite is two split-ring resonators (SRRs). EBG structure metallic conductor loaded on backside radiator which connected to patch via shorting pin. SRRs consist rings etched feedline. simulated measured results show that proposed has operational bandwidth from 3.1 - 11.8 GHz for |S11| <; -10 rejecting sub-6 (3.4 3.9 GHz), (5.15 5.825 (7.25 7.75 GHz) signals high selectivity. peak gain UWB 3.86 dBi but it sharply decreases up -13 stop-bands. also additional advantages overall compact size (20 x 26 1.52 mm3) stable radiation patterns pass-bands.
